GEMS - or Generations Entrusted to Moms is for any Mom of any age.
We seek to come together, encourage one another, share our struggles, burdens, and even our wisdom. This group will begin meeting once a week in January of 2006. Before that time we will have a some fun trips together such as a day for you and the kids to visit the Pumpkin Patch in October. Interested? Want to make some new girlfriends? Come and see what we are all about.
We have been given only one piece of life’s jigsaw puzzle. Onlyl God has the cover of the box.

Proverbs 31: 25-26 She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue
Lately , sheep, shepherds and Psalm 23 have been on my mind. Just a week ago I bought a cool bracelet that has beautiful Sterling silver and Swarovski colored crystal beads that each remind me of a section of Psalm 23. The color of the crystal bead is in the parentheses. As you read, you can imagine the bracelet.
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd, (white) I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, (green)
he leads me beside quiet waters, (blue) he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness (clear) for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, (black)
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, (brown) they comfort me.
You prepare a table (brown) before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil (yellow); my cup (purple) overflows.
Surely goodness and love (pink) will follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord (gold) forever
I found it at a website called www.LauraKDesigns.com
Laura has an inspirational story of hope.
This Psalm is so familiar that we all may gain comfort from parts of it. As I was driving down a local country road last week I passed a sign on a farmers fence. On a large piece of plywood was spray painted “SHEEPS for SALE” . I just had to laugh— SHEEPS!
